I did this manicure a few weeks ago - it was rainy then and I was inspired from the weather. I reminds a similar cloud manicure from months back - Pink Clouds.

I love using many different colors at once - it is so fun.

What do you think? Does it remind you of how sky darkens before rain?

Kayısı rengi oje arayışımdan bahsetmiştim - bu da o arayışın başarısız sonuçlarından teki. Oje güzel, rahat sürülen bir fırçası var ve iki katta tırnağı kapatıyor. Ama kayısı rengi değil! Burada rengi daha turuncu çıkmış, aslında mercana dönük bir renk. Ucuna da Golden Rose'un yeni serisi Jolly Jewels'i sünger ile uyguladım. Hoş oldu, ne dersiniz?

I mentioned my search for peach-colored nail polish - this is one of its unsuccessful results. The polish is really nice, it has a big brush for comfortable appliance and two coats are enough to cover up the nail. however it is not peach colored! It looks like it in the photos but looks more like coral in real life. I applied a polish with sponge from Golden Rose's new collection, Jolly Jewels. I like it, what do you think?

I've seen these kind of patterned manicures on the internet and wanted to try. It is fun to do but I'd prefer the lines to be thinner. That's all it can be with a nail art polish brush, I guess.

Spring has come, hasn't it? Just seeing flowers on trees make me happy :) Wanted to have some flowers on my nails as well.


It is really enjoyable to draw these with a water painting brush. Only thing left is to learn how to clean and not to damage the brush.

Ombre manikür yapmak çok eğlenceli değil mi? Hem ojeleri seçerken hem de teker teker sürerken çok eğleniyorum. Bu sefer işi abartıp iki elimde de devam eden bir ombre yaptım.

Ateşten ilham alarak yapmıştım, sarıdan kırmızıya ateş renkleriydi. Fakat o gün Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray maçı olunca elimdeki bu manikür çok daha farklı bir anlam kazandı!

Bloga ilk defa mı sol elimin resmini koyuyorum? Ne kadar zor olabilir ki bir elinin resmini çekmek? Bu kadar olmamalı. (çift elin fotoğrafına girmiyorum bile. Canım anneme yardımları için tekrar teşekkürler =)) )

Isn't it fun to do ombre manicures? I have so much fun while choosing the polishes and applying them. This time I overdid though.

Is this the first time I put my left on my blog? How hard can it be to take a photo of your hand? Surely not this much. (I'm not even mentioning the double-hand picture. Thank mom! =)) )

Golden Rose Matte Velvet 101

Golden Rose'un matte serisini ne kadar sevdiğimden bahsetmiştim, fakat ben tüm mat renklerin tek seride olduğunu sanıyordum. Öyle değilmiş; bir matte serisi, bir de velvet matte serisi varmış. Bu güzel buz mavisi velvet matte serisinden.

Matte ile velvet matte'nin farkı matte tam mat renklerden oluşan bir seri iken velvet matte yarı mat bir seri. Fotoğraflardan gördüğünüz gibi mat ama ışıltılı ojeleri. Çok da güzel görünmüyor mu?

I mentioned  how I love Golden Rose's matte series but I thought all matte polishes were part of the matte series. This isn't the case; there is matte series then there is velvet matte series. This beautiful ice blue is from velvet matte series.

The difference between matte and velvet matte is while matte is matte (ha ha!), velvet matte is half-matte. You can see in the photos that they are mat but glittery. Lovely, aren't they?

Golden Rose Holographic 119

Golden Rose'un holografic ojeleri olduğunu biliyordum ve Türkiye'de satılmadığı için de deli oluyordum. Geçen gün öğrendim ki (teşkür Lalii) internet sitesinde satıyorlarmış. Hemen bir kaç tane aldım.

119 serinin en koyu renklerinden biri, koyu gri. Bu aralar bu tarz koyu renkleri pek seviyorum o yüzden bu ojeyi de beğendim. Sürüşü rahat, burada iki kat sürdüm. Ojeler elime geçince şaşırdığım tek nokta var: Şişenin büyüklüğü fotoğraftan belli oluyor mu? Şişeler yalnızca 5.5 ml, son zamanlarda aldığım en az 15 ml olan ojelerden sonra bu gözüme çok az göründü. Gerçi fiyatından tahmin etmeliydim.

Yüzük parmağımdaki oje de China Glaze QT. Hem holografik olsun, hem de renk katsın istedim.

I knew Golden Rose had holographic nail polish but the company didn't sell them in Turkey. A few days ago I learned that they began selling them though their web page. Immediately I bought some.

119 is one of the darkest colors of the series, a dark grey. I like these dark colors these days so I liked this one too. Easy to apply, used two coats here. There was only one point that surprised me: Can you see the bottle size from the photo? It is only 5.5 ml, though I should have guessed from its price.

The pink one is China Glaze QT. I wanted it to be holographic but colorful.

Golden Rose Matte ojelerini çok sevdim. Bu elimdeki de 11 numaralı koyu gri rengi. Üzerine de Inglot'un simlerinden XL4'ü sürdüm. İkisi de iki kat. Simler aslında sarılar fakat altındaki koyu renk olduğu için yeşil görünüyorlar herhalde, pek de anlamadım.

Üzerine mat kat sürecektim fakat kıyamadım. Çok güzel parlıyorlar.

I love Golden Rose Matte polishes. This is number 11, a dark grey. Then I applied one of Inglot's glitters, XL4. Both are two coats. Glitters are actually yellow but somehow they look green here, maybe because of the dark base?

I was going to apply matte coat but couldn't. They shine so pretty.

Biraz morlim bozuktu, ben de elimdeki en canlı renklerden birini sürdüm. Golden Rose Matte serisinden pek neşeli bir pembe rengi. İki kat sürdüm. Üzerine de Konad özel beyaz ojesi ile BM 209 diskindeki kalpli desen.

Kalbi de pembeyi de sevmem - ona rağmen hoşuma gitti.

I was feeling kinda down so I put on one of my most colorful polishes. This is a really bright and lovely pink from Golden Rose Matte series. Applied two coats. Then did this heart pattern on BM 209 with Konad special white polish.

I like neither pink not hearts - still I'm kinda fond of this.

Bu manyetik ojeler için ne kadar da bekledim. Yabancı firmaların yaptıklarını görüp, bilgisayar başında iç geçirirdim. Sonunda bir Türk firması da yaptı! Golden Rose, teşekkürler!

Bu ojelerin haberini Oje Delisi'nden duyduğumdan beri Golden Rose standına gitsem diyordum. Dün almayı başardım. Beklediğime de değdi.

Manyetik ojelerin çalışmasını biliyorsunuzdur: ojenin içinde demir tozu var ve bir mıknatıs yardımı ile desen veriliyor. Mıknatıs ojenin kutusundan çıkıyor. Ojeyi tek, kalın bir kat sürüp daha kurumadan mıknatısı üzerinde tutmak gerekiyor. Ki bu demesi yapmasından daha kolay bir iş - bu kadar çabuk kuruyan oje nadirdir. Bir tarafı olmadı mı yama da yapılmıyor - desenler örtüşmüyor.

Yine bir sürü fotoğraf çektim ama gerçekte oje üç boyutlu görünüyor. O hali fotoğraflara yansımamış.

I have waited so long for these magnetic polishes. And finally a Turkish brand did it! Thank you Golden Rose.

I bet you already know how these magnetic polishes work: there is iron powder in it and you create patterns with a magnet. The magnet comes with the polish. You have to apply one thick coat and put the magnet on it before it dries - which is easier said than done. It dries so quick!

A took lots of photos but I couldn't capture its 3D look.

10 rengi var. Ben denemek için üç tanesini aldım (sırasıyla 10, 03 ve 02) ama çok beğendim. Büyük olasılıkla bir kaç tane daha alacağım.

Demir tozu sağolsun içinde küçük pırıltılar var.

Golden Rose 227 + m57

Turuncu renk ojeleri pek sevmem ama Golden Rose 227 ona rağmen hoşuma gitti. Gözü rahatsız eden, fazla parlak bir turuncu değil; ağır ve hoş bir renk. Sürüşü rahat. Burada iki kat sürdüm. Üç tırnağıma da siyah konad baskı ojesi ile m57 diskinden bu dantelimsi deseni yaptım. Annem perde güpürü gibi olmuş dedi, pek güldüm.

I normally don't like orange polishes. Golden Rose 227 is not a painfully bright orange color; it is kinda heavy and a pleasant color. I applied two coats here. And used black konad special polish and m57 disk for stamping.

Eski yaptığım süngerli bir manikür. Golden Rose 132 çok güzel mavi ile mor arası bir renk - bu rengin adını bir türlü öğrenemiyorum. İki kat sürdüm. Ucundaki mor da Flormar Supershine 48. Süngeri hafif yapınca oluşan bu delikli görüntüyü seviyorum =)

An old manicure. golden Rose 132 is a beautiful colour between blue and purple. There is two coats here. And the purple is Flormar Supershine 48, applied with sponge.

Bant tekniği uygulama denemelerine devam! Bu yaptığım manikürü bir yerlerde görmüştüm ve denemek istemiştim. Anca sıra geldi.

Yapması basit ama görüntüsü hoş bir manikür. Tabi tırnaklarımın en uzun haline yaptım - artık kısalttım. O kadar uzunu rahatsız ediyor. Bant tekniğinde, bana göre, tek sorun çok sabırlı olmak gerekmesi. Mesela burada da bir katı sürüyorsun, kurumasını bekliyorsun, üstüne bantı yapıştırıp ikincisini sürüyorsun. Ama ben her seferinde yeterince beklememiş olduğum için alttaki ojeye zarar veriyorum. Burada da oldu; çok sinir bozucu değil mi?

Kullandığım ojeler sırasıyla Rimmel 058 Lemon Drop - Golden Rose 227 - Alix Avien 170. Golden Rose'un bu rengini çok beğendim, büyük olasılıkla yakınlarda tek başına kullanırım. Rimmel'in ojesini ise pek de beğenmedim; kaç kat sürsem de pürüzsüz bir tabaka olmadı. Başka ojelerinde böyle olmuyordu, anlamadım.

Bu sıcak yaz ayları için pek sonbahar renkli oldu. Belki bir dahaya yaz renkleriyle yaparım bunu.

Continuing with tape manicure trials! I saw this one somewhere before and wanted to try it.

It is easy to do yet looks nice.  The only problem with tape techique, according to me, is that you have to be really patient. For example, in this one I apply one coat, wait for it to dry, stick the tape on it and apply the second coat. Yet I never wait enough, apparently, because tape always damages the applied coat. Isn't it irritating?

The polishes I used were Rimmel 058 Lemon Drop - Golden Rose 227 - Alix Avien 170. I really like Golden Rose's this color; will probably apply in alone these days. I didn't like Rimmel's polish; no matter how may coats I apply, I couldn't get a flawless coat. This didn't happen with the brand's previous polishes; I didn't understand the reason.

The was so autumn colors for these hot summer months; maybe I can try with summer colors next time.

Flormar 50 Gradual

Bu gradual yerine Türkçe ne kullanılıyor? Kademeli falan? Bilmediğimden gradual diye bıraktım.

İlk defa deniyorum bu işi. Hem sünger tekniğini hem de gradualı ilk deneyişim. Bence yeterince başarılı oldu.

Normalde bu oje çok güzel bir yeşil. Makinem rengi tam olarak gösteremedi, anlamadım. Ayarları ile daha oynamam gerekecek.

(Anneme desen yaparken tırnağıma beyaz bulaşmış!)

Bu üç renk ile yaptım. Sırasıyla Golden Rose 37, Flormar 50 ve Avon Green with Envy.

This is my first time trying both gradual and sponge tenchinques. I think they are pretty decent.

Normally Flormar 50 is a beautiful green yet my camera didn't get its right color. Should work on its settings.
